quick trip

I'm off in a couple of days back to central new york-
I will be in cortland, ny from weds, nov 22nd- sunday the 26th.
doing a book signing at mando books (mandolin winds) downtown cortland on friday, nov. 24th from 1pm-5pm,
33 main street... also going to see some old highschool friends, do some tattoos, hang with the family and hopefully get some painting in.
drove down to los angeles last weekend with henry lewis to help out michael hussar put together his show at mendenhall sobieski- a busy and festive 3 days- everybody chipped in and cranked in to overdrive to help mike excecute his vision...
I brought down a painting in progress of kat von d to work on while we were down, got some great feedback and kat got to see it in person- it looks like I'm going to be on miami ink soon, more info on the specifics to come...
there are so many great artists out there,
but kore flatmo is fucking bad ass.

25+ teachers for 3 days, visual overload...

back from the new york groove

just got back from nyc-
the show at last rites / strychnin was out of control...
half naked ladies tied up, tag team tattooing, 4 rounds of art fusion, 700+ people, documentary movie screening- dark art and good times...
saw some old faces, old students and friends and made some new ones...
fit in some painting with the boys at west side ink, as well...

* an upcoming feature article and cover of an Australian design magazine, Empty
* my painting of Paul Booth was featured on MTV's Halloween special of Headbangers Ball- and Paul's show on MTV

*** I will be in Miami from December 7th-11th for this year's Miami Art Basel
I will be showing with Robert Williams, Shepard Fairey, Mike Davis, Todd Schorr, Elizabeth McGrath, Camille Rose Garcia, Jeff Soto, Sas Christian, Tim Biskup, Ron English, Gary Baseman, Colin Christian, Richard Colman, Dave Cooper, Ray Caesar, Jonathan Weiner, Mars-1, Andrew Brandou, Yumiko Kayukawa, Curve, Chris Ryniak, Nathan Spoor. Travis Louie, Niagara, Van Arno, and a few others... The majority of these artists will be there for the whole weekend!!!
We will also be doing book signing (for those of the artists that have books) on saturday...
